Who is better than sticker mule?

03 Apr.,2024

I’ve been a die hard Sticker Mule fan and customer for awhile now! I’ve been hearing things about this (new-to-me) company called Sticker Blitz. I decided to check it out.

At first glance, their website looks extremely similar to Sticker Mule. Not quite exactly the same but they could be sisters! It looks like Sticker Blitz currently offers printing of stickers – whereas Sticker Mule now offers several other products (magnets, buttons, polymailers, etc). After doing a bit of research on the company I decided to give them a shot. Here are a few of my thoughts on my purchase:

Ordering: Both companies offer very similar ordering systems. You pick the size, the quantity, and upload your sticker to their website. Both companies send you a follow up email with a proof within a few hours. Sticker Mule has sent me proofs to approve via text message before. I found this is super convenient so I am not having to constantly check my email waiting for that proof to come in. It seems that Sticker Blitz only offers email proofs at this time.

Pricing: An order of 100 3”x3” die cut stickers will run you roughly $94 at Sticker Mule. The same order will run you $88.83 at Sticker Blitz. Sticker Blitz comes in a bit cheaper than Sticker Mule in this category.

Shipping: It appears both companies currently offer free shipping. My most recent purchase from Sticker Mule took 5 calendar days to receive (from order to doorstep). My most recent purchase from Sticker Blitz took 9 calendar days to receive. Sticker Blitz is the clear runner up in this category. Their website states “All orders are printed and shipped on the next business day.” This statement seemed to be true for my order. The shipping time for my order is what took the longest.

Customer Service: I am constantly wow’d by Sticker Mule’s customer service, deals, and account benefits. I first ordered through Sticker Mule using their new customer $1 for 10 die cut sticker special. You truly cannot beat that deal – I’ve seen them running this deal recently. Sticker Mule also has a great member referral program. All you have to do is share a link with your friends and they receive a $10 store credit when they spend over $10 and in return you get a $10 store credit. (Here is my link if you’d like to save https://www.stickermule.com/unlock?ref_id=1591861701&utm_medium=link&utm_source=invite) I have no comments for Sticker Blitz’s customer service, deals, or member benefits.

Quality: I was pleasantly surprised, almost shocked when I first opened my Sticker Blitz order. They are practically identical to Sticker Mule in quality. The default die cut stickers from both companies have a matte feel to them. The sticker feels very high quality and are thick. Both companies claim that their stickers are dishwasher tested, scratch and fade resistant.

Final Thoughts: Sticker Blitz would be my pick since you are able to save a bit more money on each order. Since, the quality of the stickers are practically the same it’s almost a no brainer. You just have to remember to order them far enough in advance to account for the longer shipping time!

If you're a sticker creator and want to save some time by using an online sticker printing service to make your stickers, but don't want to skimp on quality, but also are on a budget, this is the review article for you.

I was in your shoes once. I printed each of my sticker sheets individually, and waited the 3 minutes for my Cricut machine to make the die cuts. Once I started to ramp up in volume, I realized that this method of producing stickers was slowly eating into my time for creativity. I didn't want to be pushed into manufacturing mode everyday anymore, so I sought out online sticker printing companies to do it for me.

Here were my pre-requisites for the sticker printing companies that I tested:

  • They were able to print high quality, weather-proof stickers

  • Low minimum quantities (I didn't want to have to commit to 100 or more stickers if I was testing a new design)

  • The color match of the print was accurate to the product file I uploaded

  • The cost of printing stickers was low enough for me to still sell my stickers wholesale

  • They had discounts for shipping and/or volume

Best Online Sticker Printing Companies I Found

Sticker Mule was one of the few sticker printing companies that I tested that met all of my pre-requisites. Their minimum quantity is 50 stickers for bulk orders, but you can purchase sample packs of 10 custom designed stickers for $9 if you are just testing designs. When you're purchasing in bulk (100+), Sticker Mule will outshine its competitors in cost. The beauty is that you don't have to commit to that many stickers until you're seeing growth in your own sticker business!

The biggest factor of selecting them as my printer printer of choice is the product quality. I tested using Sticker Mule stickers with water bottles (you have to hand wash the bottle, but that's the case for all stickers!) and my laptop, and they've always have been my most durable stickers.

They also have quick review and production times, so I usually get my sticker orders within 1 business week from purchase. I've used Sticker Mule over a dozen times within a year, and I've never had any order issues.

Full transparency, if you click this link, you'll get $10 to spend on custom stickers and other printed products, and I'll also get $10 for my own sticker production. You can purchase a sample pack of custom stickers of your own design here, so you can test the quality using your own designs for FREE. I think it's a win-win for both of us!

My (close) second choice for sticker printing companies is Sticker App. The minimum quantity for a single design is 25 for $26 for a 3" x 3" sticker. Sticker App also is the most cost effective for artists who are looking to produce lower quantities. Once you get into larger quantities (200+ stickers), that's where Sticker App will be more expensive to use than Sticker Mule.

One benefit of the Sticker App is their wide variety of sticker material options. From glitter to glow-in-the-dark to aluminum stickers, you have more options to test with this company.

You can purchase a sample pack for $2 on their site (no option to customize, though!) to get an in-person feel for all of their sticker material options.

Stores I didn't test due to high cost per sticker or high minimums

Prices updated to reflected lasted cost in January, 2022 for 3" x 3" sticker

  • StickerGiant

    - Minimum 125 stickers at $0.89/sticker
  • Print Runner

    - Minimum 250 stickers at $1.07/sticker

Stores I didn't like due to poor quality

Prices updated to reflected lasted cost in January, 2022 for 3" x 3" sticker

  • Sticker Robot

    - The die cut was not accurate to my file upload, and I didn't particularly like the high gloss finish of the sticker. Minimum 250 stickers at $0.64/sticker
  • U Printing

    - U Printing prints in bulk based on the number of orders they get per day. There's a possibility that you can get +/- 10% of what you actually order because of this. Also their cheapest option is a 70lb sticker glossy at $1.10/sticker (which is the thinnest sticker material available and is extremely low quality). For the weatherproof vinyl material, the price point is $1.22/sticker at a minimum of 250 stickers.
